SIRIS is an interuniversity service created in 1997 in order to federate in Sorbonne the common network infrastructure to the different beneficiaries of this site. This department is administratively attached to the Chancellery of the Universities of Paris.

Since 2017, the innovation and digital division of this service has relied on this infrastructure in order to promote the Sorbonne’s heritage through technological innovation.

The Chancellery of the Universities of Paris and SIRIS are proud to present the first three digital and innovative projects in the Sorbonne. One of them is the result of the work of five students in Design and Management of Interactive Innovation in Gobelins, the School of Image, another of an architect passionate about archeology and historical heritage, and finally the first digital service for users that is a guiding application!

The EIAH’2019 conference offers the opportunity to present existing prototypes in the form of demonstrations to this community. As part of this call, Frédérick Bigrat, Mélody Laurent and Cécile Méadel presented a poster on the “Valorisation of data for the improvement of MOOC hosting platforms”.


Paris region awards ceremony of digital innovation in higher education

The Chancellery of the Universities of Paris is laureate at the 2nd edition of the Paris Region Awards for digital innovation launched by the Île-de-France Region to facilitate the creation of innovative digital projects. This project is supported by SIRIS.
